The Winter Garden Fire Rescue Department is dedicated to building a safe and resilent community by equipping residents with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to prevent and respond to emergencies. Through the "You Can Make A Difference" initiative, the department seeks to reduce the occurrence and impact of local risks, ensuring that every citizen is prepared.  This initiative covers a wide range of safety topics, from fire prevention and emergency preparedness to life-saving techniques and safe disposal practices.

Program Offerings

Fire Safety Education

This program provides essential information and training on fire prevention, home evacuation plans, and the proper use of fire extinguishers. Protect your home or business - learn more. Hands-Only CPR Education

Learn hands-only CPR and AED use to increase the survival rate of cardiac arrest victims. Be prepared to save a life - sign up now.

Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Program

The PAD program partners with local non-profit organizations to ensure AEDs are available for use by bystanders during cardiac emergencies. Help make AEDs accessible - learn more.

Smoke Alarm Program

Emergency Preparedness Program

Sharps Disposal Program

This program offers a safe way to dispose of used sharps, such as needles and syringes at any Winter Garden Fire Station. Protect your community - locate the nearest fire station.

Car Seat Installation & Safety Checks
