Registration for programs starting on or after September 1st will be available to city residents on Wednesday August 17, and nonresidents on Wednesday August 24.
Transportation in accordance to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulation is available upon request. In order to provide accommodations please have your request ready upon registration, 10 business days prior to scheduled trip date. Trip Fees are subject to change dependent upon venue and number of participants. All registrations are final one full week prior to the trip.
Shine and Dine—Winter Garden
The Winter Garden Parks & Recreation presents lunch and a matinee at the Historic Garden Theater. Come join us for this fun filled afternoon with friends. Meet at the Fountain/Gazebo on Plant Street at 11:45 am. Group lunch is Dutch treat at 12 pm, at a local restaurant, with the performance immediately following at 2 pm. Program cost includes theater ticket only. No transportation is available.
Ugly is the odd duck out in the nest, and looks quite a bit different from his darling siblings. Despite his mother’s love and protective flapping, the other barnyard animals are quick to taunt and tease the little duckling. Wild Florida—Kenansville, FL
In the comfort of the bus, we will travel through the Safari Park and discover more than 150 native and exotic animals, from around the world, roaming freely. You will see wild animals such as giraffes, zebra, eland antelope, scimitar oryx, American bison, mouflon sheep, and more! We will then travel to Alligator Park where we will exit the bus so you can view more than 200 additional animals, as well as enjoy a variety of educational animal shows. Price includes transportation, admission tickets and lunch. You must bring cash to feed the giraffes.

Ponce Inlet Lighthouse & Museum—Ponce Inlet, FL
The Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station is a National Historic Landmark and home to one of the finest lighthouse museums in the world. As you step inside the historic white picket fence, you are literally stepping back in time. All the original structures are there for you to explore, and yes – you can climb the 203 steps to the top of the lighthouse tower! Dutch treat lunch.
