Transportation

Transportation in accordance to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulation is available upon request. In order to provide accommodations please have your request ready upon registration, 10 business days prior to scheduled trip date. Trip Fees are subject to change dependent upon venue and number of participants. All registrations are final one full week prior to the trip.

Tilted Teacup—Brooksville

Spend a day with your friends for an enjoyable “Afternoon Tea” at the Tilted Teacup Tea Room. This family owned business serves tea in a house that was built in 1924—there are four steps to the area where we will have our tea. There will be time to shop at the Christmas store gift shop after tea. Fee includes transportation and lunch.

Florida Museum Of Natural History – Gainesville

This museum is located on the University of Florida’s Gainesville campus.  It is one of the nation’s top five natural history museums.  We will have a docent-led tour of the museum and the Butterfly Rainforest.  Our admission fee will also allow us to have a self-guided tour of the “Croc” exhibit. Lunch is Dutch treat.

Tampa Theatre and Boat Tour – Tampa

Tour a historic U.S. theater and city landmark in the Uptown District of Tampa, Florida. The Tampa Theatre was built in 1926 as one of America’s most elaborate movie palaces, the Tampa Theatre is a beloved community landmark.  This tour does include climbing steps and the theatre does not have an elevator.  Also enjoy a ride in the Tampa Harbor as you learn some history about Tampa and see the Pirate ship, Gabriella.  Lunch will be Dutch treat.

Brevard Museum Of History And Natural Science – Cocoa

This museum is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood.  The museum boasts two wings of indoor exhibits and a 22-acre nature preserve backing up to the Eastern Florida State College Planetarium. Through curation and display we will explore the unique history of Brevard County. From Ice Age fossils to the Space Age Hubble telescope, there is something for everyone!  Lunch is Dutch treat.

All Shook Up – Clermont

The music of Elvis comes alive in All Shook Up. Inspired by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, All Shook Up is a rocking, heartwarming tale about following dreams, opening up to love, and the power of music.  This matinee is performed at the Moonlight Players Theatre!  We will have a Dutch treat dinner after the play.

Shine and Dine—Winter Garden

The Winter Garden Parks & Recreation presents lunch and a matinee at the Historic Garden Theater. Come join us for this fun filled afternoon with friends. Meet at the fountain/gazebo on Plant Street at 11:45 am. Group lunch is Dutch treat at 12 pm, at a local restaurant, with the performance immediately following at 2 pm. Program cost includes theater ticket only. No transportation is available.
