At the request of the East Winter Garden community, the City Commission adopted a resolution on Feb. 8, 2024, designating “Historic East Winter Garden Neighborhood” as the offiicial name for the neighborhood to recognize its unique identity and history.
The City was petitioned to formalize the name, Historic East Winter Garden Neighborhood, by the leadership organization One Winter Garden, which represents the collective voice of the community, as well as direct requests at the City’s numerous outreach efforts.
