Teddy Bear Tea
Calling all bears and kids!  Join the Recreation staff for a morning of tea, cakes, treats, tales and fun.  All children ages 3 to 5 are welcome to come along with their bear friends. 
Date:  Monday, November 8
Time: 10am - 12pm
Fee:   FREE!


Movie at the Brock!
Bring your blankets and snacks for a fun outdoor movie night at the Jessie Brock Community Center.  Food will be available for purchase.
Date:  Friday, November 5
Time: 7:30 - 9:30pm
Fee:   FREE!


Kid’s Night In!
A fun evening just for little ones while parents have time to finish up that last minute shopping!  Play games, make crafts and have yummy snacks!
Date:  Friday, December 10
Time: 6 - 9pm
Ages: 5* - 14 years (5 year old campers must have begun Kindergarten)
Fee:   $5 City Resident / $8 Non-Resident per child


Kid’s Café
Hang out with friends, make cool art projects, play games and eat healthy!  Kid’s Café is a unique, free dinner program designed for children of low-income families and is a joint program offered by the City of Winter Garden, the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and the Orange County Community Action Division.
Date:  Mondays - Thursdays weekly
Time: 3:30 - 5pm
Fee:   FREE to children 18 and under
Place: Maxey Community Center - 830 Klondike Street


Middle School Dances
Enjoy friends and music!  Middle School Dances are fun, exciting and safe!  Dances are supervised by Recreation staff and are open to sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students only.  Current school ID must be presented at the door.  School dress code is required.  Dances are limited to the first 250 participants.
Date:  Friday, September 17
          Friday, October 22
Time: 7 - 10pm
Fee:   $5 per student


Creative Movement
This unique program introduces basic dance steps and movement.  Class focus is on creativity and self-expression while developing fine and gross motor skills.  Advanced registration required.
Date:  Saturdays, September 18 – November 13 (there will be no class October 9)
Time: 9 - 10am
Ages: 3 - 4 years
Fee:   $60 City Resident / $65 Non-Resident per eight-week session


Let’s Play Guitar
Beginner and advanced classes available.  Learn to play folk, blues and pop standards from our experienced instructor.  Class space is limited, advanced registration required.  Acoustic guitar required.
Date:  Classes available in 30-minute sessions between 9 - 11:30am and 5 - 7:30pm on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays.
Fee:   $60 per six-week session
Ages: 8 - 16 years


Music with Mar
A preschool class that uses music to enhance the main areas of development: cognitive, social, motor and language. All classes are multi-age and family friendly with no sessions to commit to.  Come and learn while making music!
Date:  Thursdays
Time: 10 - 11am
Ages: 0 - 5 years
Fee:   $7 per family per class
          $30 per five-classes per family


Preschool Playtime
A fun preschool program that uses playtime as an enrichment tool to help younger children develop social skills.  Children will enjoy story time, crafts, movement games, activities, and more!  Advanced registration required.
Date:  Tuesdays, September 14 - October 5
Time: 9 - 10 am
Ages: 2 - 5 years
Fee:   $8 City Resident / $9 Non-Resident per class
          $28 City Resident / $30 Non-Resident per four-week session


Piecing It Together - Autism Workshop
Children will participate in activities relating to sensory integration, occupational therapy, applied behavioral analysis, and music therapy.  Qualified instructors will coach parents on how to apply learned techniques at home.  Each week there will be special guests from area agencies and programs who can answer questions and provide additional resources and support.  Advanced registration required. 
Date: Saturdays, September 11 - December 4 
Time: 10 - 11am
Ages: 2 - 5 years
