Board Appointment Interest
Code Enforcement Board:
(3 Years or un-expired term of vacated seat)
The code enforcement board has jurisdiction and authority to hear and decide alleged violations of the
City Code of Ordinances, where a pending or repeated violation continues to exist, including but not limited to occupational
licenses and fire, building, zoning and sign codes.
Regularly meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:15 P.M. in City Commission Chambers, 251 W. Plant Street.
Planning & Zoning Board:
(4 Years or un-expired term of vacated seat)
The purpose of the planning and zoning board is to implement the comprehensive plan adopted by the city
with reasonable consideration, among other things, to the prevailing land uses, growth characteristics and the character of the
respective districts and their peculiar suitability for peculiar uses and to encourage the most appropriate use of the land
throughout the city, from time to time revising and amending the plan.
