Residential Additions & Remodels

Building:

  1. Foundation (if applicable). Slab ( if applicable) Roof deck and wall sheathing. Exterior clip and strap inspection is done at this inspection. Felt paper may be in place on the roof deck. Framing. All the other trades rough in inspections are done in conjunction with this inspection and must be completed and ready for inspection. Roofing must be complete at this inspection and all exterior doors and windows must be installed. Insulation
  2. Final. All trades will be final inspected at this inspection.
Plumbing:
If needed the inspections would be in the same order as new construction.
Mechanical:
If needed the inspections would be in the same order as new construction.
Electrical:
Service changes must be coordinated with the inspection department, Contact the Electrical Inspector.
  1. Underground piping. Rough-in. This inspection is done at the same time as the framing inspection.
  2. Final this inspection is done at the same time as the building final.
